Recently we install DLO agent 8.0 sp3 on a Mac. After the installation, we get an error saying "unable to connect to media server". After further investigate, we realized its due to the parameters inside setup.ini. It was using our DLO server hostname. On the Mac, it was unable to ping via hostname, but no issue with full FQDN. So we went ahead to edit the setup.ini and change it to use FQDN instead of the hostname.
Test installing the DLO agent on another Mac and it worked. We went ahead to uninstall the DLO agent on the first Mac and reinstall the agent again with the new setup.ini. However we are still getting "unable to connect to media server" error. I believe the Mac is still using the old setup.ini. Is there a way to completely remove the desktop agent? Base on the admin guide, it says you just need to remove the app from the Applications folder. Is there any configuration stored somewhere else that we need to remove?

Ideally, there should not be any leftover data. You could check if there is any DLO related data at \Users\Username\.Applications & If there is, delete it. If there isn't, try rebooting the MAC and retry the install.
