Migrate all DLO to another new Server. (7.6 versión)

Hi All,

We need to migrate DLO server 7.6 (windows 2008) to another new server (windows 2012).

I am using this article: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000021773 in order to help me to migrate the server, besides I need know how I can migrate the user profiles, global configuration, AUA, etc. in other words all configuration form old server to new server.

If you follow step by step you don't need to worry about the configurations, policies, profile or AUA. All should be migrated as a part of DB copy.

Hi, The link shared in your query provides the steps to migrate the server, follow step 5 to migrate all the DLO configuration settings “Copy DLO.mdf and DLO_log.LDF in X:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec DLO \Data from old server into same directory on new server. Copy the dedupedb.mdf and dedupedb_log.ldf from X:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec DLO\Dedupe\Database from old server into the same directory on the new server.”
