Archiving contacts

Hi.

 

I'm trying to implement a new policy that will archive the entire mailbox after a user has left the company.

 

I've checked all messageclasses, including ipm.contact, on this dedicated policy but for some reason, the contacts are not being archived.

Running a report prior to archiving reveals that EV is not intending to archive the contacts (number of archivable items - Number of items ready to archive = the amount of contacts in the mailbox).

 

I'm not using EVPM to archive the mailbox but rather a separate provisioning group/mailbox policy and the policy is set to archive everything older than 1 day and currently it is also set to leave shortcuts in the mailbox.

 

Anyone experienced this before?

I'm still struggling with this one.

Manual archiving of contacts that are initiated from Outlook works fine but the archiving task, scheduled or manually triggered, just ignores the contacts for some reason.

 

I'd appreciate any thoughts or ideas.

Could be a possible corruption in Hidden Message. Try Deleting it from Outlook.
