FYI I spoke to the Certification Manager.. It's not been tested.
My advice would be to not use it - if you use it, and problems happen, you'd be out on a bit of a limb from a Support point of view.

I am not sure if it would have been tested (I've sent an email to check) but in theory an application wouldn't know about the encryption, right? So it *should* work.
Out of interest, what are you trying to encrypt?

Hi
Can you further describe on what you want to do?
Do you want to archive a fileserver which has BitLocker encryption?
Do you want the EV Server to be BitLocker encrypted?
Do you want to encrypt user's desktops and worry about Vault Cache / Outlook Add-In behavior?
Cheers
Michel

More information: A customer asked me if the DVS files are encrypted, and if EV was supposed to work with Bitlocker enabled.

I don't think this has been tested, but in theory this should work as BitLocker is transparent to EV when writing the DVS files.

Hi Mariano,
Your best bet for a question like this would be to use the internal Symantec forums.
This is a public peer to peer forum and while there are Symantec employees's on here it isn't the place to get an official answer for something like this.
Regards,
Tony
