Is there a standard way calculate number of non-primary filegroups for EV9?
I have seen how to calculate the amount of disk space required for the non-primary filegroups. However, I have never found how many non-primary filegroups to create based on the mail volume.
Example:
Messages per day: 272,000
Message size: 235KB
Total archived data: 50TB
I believe in RTFM. If there is a best practice guide or somewhere in the documentation please show me the way. I am more than happy to teach myself. However, to this point, I have not found the information that I require.
