Can EV 10 coexist on OWA 2003 and OWA 2010

Hi,

We're currently running on EV10 on Win2008R2 and I have targeted both our MS Exchange 2003 and 2010 servers

I'm after a confirmartion as to whether our EV functionality on OWA 2003 will continue to work alongside EV running on the OWA for Exch 2010.

Apologies if I've got any of the terminologies wrong.

Yup, if you look at the compatibility lists EV supports Exchange 2003 SP1+ but only the 32Bit editions
You will have no issue running OWA2010 and OWA2003 extensions, you will just need to make sure that you run the OWAUser.wsf script properly to create the EnterpriseVaultProxy virtual directory, which the EV Extensions for OWA 2010 do not use

Thanks for getting back so quickly, ok so the OWAUser.wsf script doesn't need to be run with any extra switches?

I saw there was a switch for 2007, but that must be a one off for 2007.

Do a search in the "Setting_up_Exchange_server_archiving.pdf" doc for "owauser" and it will show you how to setup the data access account. Once the account is setup, the command looks like like this:

cscript owauser.wsf /domain:domain /user:username /password:password
