Hello all..
I'm running EV 7.5, SP3, and Outlook 2007. I have a couple of users that have some old email (prior to implementing message size limits) with very large attachments. I'm using quota based archiving, which starts with anything over 3 MB. These attachments are many times that size. The advanced policy settings have the maximum attachment size to archive set to 0 (no limit).
Is there a time-out associated with attachment archiving, that will fail if the attachment doesn't archive within a specified time limit? If so, can it be changed, and how?
Thank you for your time.

Hi,
No there is no timeout. With that value set to 0 EV will try and archive it. Typically we're probably busy waiting on a MAPI call to come back and say it's done it which is usually what's taking the time. That is where sometimes we get the Out of memory returned which is why we put the limits on.

I agree, there is no timeout and this must be archived soon, but mapi is slow and has a delay. But it will works in this way...
