EV 10 Compatibility with Netbackup 6.5 and Vmware 4.0

Someone can tell me if a Enterprise Vault v10 (MBA + FSA) virtualized server is compatible with Vmware 4.0 ?

And if FSA v10 shortcuts are able to be backuped by Symantec Netbackup v6.5 ?

So when Symantec says it's not compatible it means it's not supported, it's not tested or it's not working ?
