EV 11.0.1 and Windows 10 Mail App

I have a customer who is enquiring as to the support of the native Windows 10 Mail App with EV.  They currently utilise EV11.0.1 for Journal and Mailbox archiving from an Exchange 2010 DAG environment.  The users currently all have Outlook 2010/2013 and use the EV add-in.  They are considering a number of new users (specific group) using the integral Windows Mail App as opposed to outlook.

The only relevant info I can see all relates to the Office Mail App Web Support, and this is from Exchange 2013 onwards.

The native Windows email app is not supported for EV.  If you don't want to install Office/Outlook you could always use the Outlook Web App (OWA) if properly configured on the EV servers.

EV-IMAP would also be an option.
