EV FSA design.

Hi ,
 
Needed some help in  the new FSA implementation that we are planning  at our site.Currently we haev 3 EV servers for Email archiving . We are planning to implement use 3 new servers for FSA  under the same site.I would be thankful if any one can suggest me  whether the best way to have indexing  is to have in on each of these servers or  a dedicated server for indexing.And also the validation for the same.

It would be recommended for each of your new FSA archiving servers to have a local Storage service and Indexing service.  Meaning in essence each of your servers should contain a Vault Store for that server.
 
This would be the most effective configuration.

would like to know if there are any other design constraints  and best practices to be followed in designing  initial FSA implementation..and   also would like to know if there are any    performance issues  by having  the indexing service in a dedicated server.
