EV SQL Server Port numbers

EVRocks
Level 5

We are on EV 10.0.3 and have Exchange mailbox, FSA and Sharepoint archiving components enabled with remote SQL server (consolidated server). our DBA team are planning to change the ports from dynamic to Fixed ports. I remember when you install EV and configure it with remote SQL server for the first time it does allow you to choose dynamic or fixed ports but not exactly remember.

Does anyone have an idea how I can find out if EV configured with fixed or dynamic. Do I need to do anything in the EV for this change of port.

 thank you ALL.

I believe for changing, your best go is to follow the technote on how to MOVE databases to another server.

Your not actually moving, but nevertheless this might help, because it shows what need to be changed.

Also take in account to check the ODBC settings on the server (System DSN, and adjust if necessary
