Enent ID 3288

I have one mailbox that won't archive. I get lots of 3288 errors that say:

A problem has occured while archiving a message.
The archived item was not found or is no longer archive pending.
Users mailbox dn: /o=Company Name/ou=DataCenter/cn=Remote Users/cn=Columbus-OH/cn=Susan.User Internal reference: CArchivingAgent::MakeItemPendingAndProcessMsg()

Any idea what the cause is?

Hi,

Have you looked up the event in the EV events database?

I remember there is a situation where this problem can occur due to problems with mailboxes being moved (it's a MAPI issue). Resolution is to ensure latest Exchange System Manager is installed on the EV server (including latest rollup hotfixes). See if the events database has more information.
