Error msg XML page cannot be displayed when searching

I have one user who is getting the following error when trying to search their archive. I have run a repair on Outlook (2010), reset the EV client, deleted temp file in IE. Any suggestions appreciated.

The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using XLS style sheet. Please correct the error

and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

what version of EV? how is the user searching their archive? outlook? archive explorer? EV search page?

can you search their archive from the EV server? can you search their archive from another workstation?
