So what version of Enterprise Vault is this with? (As the first one which sounds quite likely, says it's fixed in EV 9)

And is your policy set like this?
This issue will occur only when the option to 'Use message body' is used for Shortcut body on the Shortcut Content tab of the Mailbox or Public Folder policy.
If so, then the technote is wrong, and you should flag it to Support. The technote says it's fixed in EV 9... and you're on 10.0.1....

Okay - then you have a workaround, but I'd still suggest contacting Symantec Support because the first of the articles says it is fixed in EV 9.. and clearly it's not.
