Event ID 3377 shows up in the event viewer every 15 minutes with no other associated event id's.

I do have the event error every 15 minutes and i dont have any second journal mailbox configured .
Please advise.

Hi,

Forget the fact that you have a journal mailbox.  What the problem is around contacting a Global Catalogue. 
Try this tech note which documents a registry key called ClosestGC

If that doesn't work, try DS Server as i had that issue and Closest GC didn't fix it but DS Server did

As per Jess, I belive adding a ClosestGC should resolve the issue.
