Excluding FSA folder

Hi,

Please excuse my ignorance as I am still very new to EV.

I recently implemented FSA and now I would like to Exclude a certain folder within an archive volume from archiving.

firstly I am going to use fsautility to restore the folder

Then I would like to prevent it from being archives again. How do I do this bit?

Create a folder policy with a "Do Not Archive" filetype *.* and apply it to that specific folder.

How do apply it to a folder within a volume.

So i have a volume set to archive "\\fileserver\G$" the folder I want to exclude is \\fileserver\G$\IT\NOARCHIVE I can't see how to apply it to that folder when it is not visible in VAC.

WiTSend   is correct, in the VAC target the folder and use a “do not archive policy” when setting it up check ignore the volume policy.
