Exporting all Archived items for a given time period

Hello,

We are planning to utilise a DLP related tool to scour our archives for previous data losses. Is it possible in EV to export say, all emails organisation wide for the last month, and if so what format(s) can they be exported in?

You can Export it as PST files via PST Export

"Export all items in this date range"

Beware that when you use the PST wizard to export from the journal that you will LOSE the bcc and dl membership data. You should be using Discovery Accelerator or Clearwell for this requirement if capturing all of the data is important to you.

You may also choose to keep original Data. There is a check field you can choose in the following wizard of PST Export.

As Andrew said be careful to not use the default setting of this wizard on Journal Archive.

If you dont have Discovery Accelerator this might be the fastest way.

the wizard will result in data loss when exporting journal data and therefor is not the right solution unless you dont care about the bcc and dl membership info which is contained in the envelope.
