Hi,

So can you search and view the items ok?

Are you sure you don't have file blocking setting up for HTM files perhaps?

I agree with Mike.

There is probably some missconfiguration.

The issues still persists.  Here is some additional information.  From the Fileserver itself, archived HTM and HTML files can be seen (Meaning the vault icon appears), also they can be opened (retrieved successfully), and they can be copied.

However, from the XP client workstations, non of the above occurs.  End users don't see the vault icon, and vaulted HTM and HTML items cannot be opened or copied, errors are produced.

So, here is where we are at...

- File Blocking is not the issue (no file blocking is in place anywhere)

- The issue doesn't exist locally on the file server

- The issue appears to only occur from client workstations (XP SP2 and SP3)

I am going to help the client open a ticket with support unless I can get some more immediate resolution.

Thanks!

Thank you very much Tony!  Microsoft KB 895115 contained the Hotfix required to address this Windows issue.  My customer applied the hotfix to his machine and the issue was resolved, we are now deploying to others to see if it is indeed fixed.
