FSA & NetApp !!!

I look the new release Enterprise Vault 6.0 Service Pack 2 on official documents "Introduction_and_Planning.pdf" on page 41.....Tha placeholder is supported on Data ONTAP 7.0 or later!!!!

How to configure placeholder for fully functionality on NetApp?
Is there a documented configuration about it?

Since the placeholder service is a Windows Service you can't install it onto the NetApp filer.

What you do is create a Multi String Value regkey on the EV server and you list all your NetApp filers.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
\Software
\KVS
\Enterprise Vault
\NetAppPlaceholderService
\Filers

You can find this info in the EV help as well.
