hey rajesh. how's it going? can you tell us a bit more about your environment? i'm guessing that the journal is fairly new. did you create a separate retention category for it? what criteria were you given for deleting data?

Hi Andy,

             Journaling task is disabled, Enterprise vault usage report shows there are messages in the journal mailbox. Ev service account has permissions to journal archive, I have to enable the journal task, before that wanted to make sure all the old messages in the journal archive are deleted.

How to manually delete messages from journal archive?

i would create a new journal archive. configure the task to use it and then you can get rid of the old one.
