I am curious if EV 9 sp 2 client can be installed and be compatabile if your server is EV 9 sp1.

just to elaborate on my short post above, page 10 of the Enterprise Vault Compatibility Charts has a nice table which references the EV versions and supported clients. only major versions are listed for official compatibilty and support.

Yep, as Andrew says will work with no problems.

This would be the one to go for: Article URL http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH170261

Also according to the compat charts the EV 10 plugin will work fine with EV 9.0 SP2 server, but I was wondering if there were any gotchas.  We are looking to update the client extensions now and plan to go to EV 10 server shortly afterwards.

Does anyone see any issues with this?  Thanks.

it's best if you test your EV10 client in a test/lab environment and also read the breaking news for EV9/10 as they report latest hotfixes/known issues.

Very few reasons to have to set up a lab just for a client fix, just get your team to use It first then send it out en masse once youre happy it works In a real environment But yeah, I think this question has been answered to death now! :)
