Migrate to New Server....

I've recently upgraded to v6 and wish to migrate my whole setup to new hardware.

I have a vault site with the old server hosting all the services, linked to a vault index and store on secondary storage and connected to a SQL server.

I have also put a new server into the same site and I wish to migrate to this server.

Any ideas what I need to do?

This one's come up before. The choice seems to be do you DR the server or do you add a new one and then move the data and services?

Opinion seemed to favour the first option.

What disk do you use for your vault Stores?

I would have to agree with David on option one. The best method to migrate to new hardware is DR.

I hope you used a DNS alias when you configured vault.
