Migrating to Windows Cluster

We are currently running Enterprise Vault 6 SP 4 on Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition.

I am looking into a HA solution in my EV environment. I want to Upgrade to a Windows Clustered Solution.

I've read through the Symantec Enterprise Vault Installing and Configuring Windows version 7

There's basically only one option which is the inplace upgrade.

I was considering building a new Windows Clustered EV servers then migrating the data across from the old server? Is this possible?

Does anyone have any experience with any of these options?

I wish I had a conversion story for you, but I don't. We were in deployment mode when EV 7.0 came out and were having some issues getting 6.4 going, so we blew it away and started from scratch going straight to MSCS. I will say this though, using MSCS the failovers are very fast and all simulated failures have worked flawlessly. We also cluster our SQL 2005 server which is dedicated to EV.
