Hi,

I'm trying to install the Outlook Web Access on one of my Back-End Exchange server and when i click on setup.exe of Enterprise Vault, received the following error:

ntvdm encountered a hard error.

Maybe someone has seen that before ? I was able to install on all other node of my Exchange server cluster but that one just don't want.

you could try these:

1. When logged in as the VSA, go into the user Environment variables and change the temp and tmp variables from %userprofile%\.... To c:\temp. Try to reinstall the software.

2. If the above doesn't work, then remove the local profile for the VSA from the server. Then relogin as the VSA to recreate the profile. Try to reinstall the software.

1. Copy the CD to the local server and run the install from there.
2. Try installing from the server itself, not from a Remote Desktop session.
3. Try clearing the %TEMP% directory of the user you are installing as

Thanks a lot. That's working :-).

I changed the temp/tmp variable to c:\temp and then it worked.
