Nightly Scheduled Archive Run always starts from the beginning

Hi All,

 

we kick off our domino archivng task at 6pm, at 11:45 the archiving task stops. at 12:00am the services are put into read only mode so a snapshot backup of the databases and data can be taken.  At 12:20am the services are put back into read/write mode and at 12:30am the archiving task kicks off again.

 

I have noticed that at 12:20am the archiving task starts from the beginning.

 

Should this be the case or should it start from where it left off?
