The file system volume \\?\UNC\ server\share$ has no Archive points associated.
No items will be archived for this volume.
See the Administrator Help for information on configuring file system volume archive points.
event ID displayed is 40976. I have spent a long time on this and cannot get it to see the archive points, even though they are visible from file server volume gui from archiving targets. I can also run the archivepoints utility and get it to read the archive points
D:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault>archivepoints read "\\server\share$"

In the Administration Console, expand Target and Expand File Server.
Expand the file server that hosts the volume you want to archive.
Right-click the volume or share and choose the share as the archive points.
