PST Migration Report?

Hey guys,

Running EV 7.5 SP2 with 4500 users.  We are still piloting with the IT group. 

I am trying to get a handle on how much PST data I have out in the field.  Is there a way to run the locate task so it just reports the locations/sizes of the PST data? 

I have heard that you dont necesarily want to run the locate task if you arent ready to collect.  I have heard that doing this may give you out of date info when you go to collect.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd suggest you do the following in this situation:

- Disable Collector / Migrator Tasks
- Start Locator Task
- Make sure you delete all PST Files in "Personal Store Management" -> "Files" before you actually begin collecting the PST Files.

This way, you can run your analysis, and you won't have out-of-date files.
