PST Migrations have been disabled for EV_servername

Hi

I am migrating PST files using the PST migrator tool. At the end of the process, some PST have failed and some succeeded which is not the problem. The problem is that every so often when I tried to run the tool again after to carry on the import, a box pops up which says:

PST Migrations have been disabled for <EV_servername>

and I can't do anything... Has anybody had this problem?

Are you sure the system isn't in 'read only' mode and being backed up?

No, the backup has finished a long time ago... how do I check it is in a "read-only" mode?

Hi,

search for 'EnablePSTMigrations' in HKLM\Software\KVS\... Subtree (does not remember now the actual location). There should be several keys (like EnableArchive) and so on. If they are set to 1, the system is in read/write, if set to zero it is in read-only.

You'll need the following two keys enabled in order to successfully migrate a PST file:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Storage\EnablePSTMigrations

HKLM\SOFTWARE\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Storage\EnableArchive

EnablePSTMigrations, Value 1 = Enabled

EnablePSTMigrations, Value 0 = Disabled

EnableArchive, Value 1 = Enabled

EnableArchive, Value 0 = Disabled
