Report on size of placeholders in individual mailbox

We are looking for a way to be able to report on the combines size of all placeholders in an individual mailbox. Something similar to checking the properties of a mailbox and choosing mailboxsize.

The other way around is fine also. Reporting on the size of the 'normal' messages. Deduct this from the total mailbox size, and one knows how much non-archivable content is in the mailbox.

We need this information to be able to set intelligent quota on our mailboxes. Default is 100MB, but if there is 70MB worth of placeholders and other items we don't archive, maybe 100MB is not that suitable for that particular user.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but you probably won't get around Programming an Application to achieve this.

You can look for Items of Message Class IPM.Notes.EnterpriseVault.Shortcut.
But to look for those Messages, you have to connect to the Exchange Server via MAPI
