Restore all items back to public folder

Hi,

We are going through a process of getting rid of our public folders (hurrah!).  The problem I have is that we have had public folder archiving for a while now and I want to push all the archived data back into the public folder so that I can export it to a .pst before it is finally deleted.  For example, there are a number of folders that have not had anything added since 2006 but rather than just delete it my manager wants us to remove it from the PF structure to a pst file then after a few months, if noone notices it is missing or requests access then we can finally delete it.

For me to export it I need the actual emails rather than the stubs and I can't force the archive back into the source folder using the export function from the Archives context menu.

I really don't want to sit restoring the emails manually, is there an automatic method of doing this?

You could try the search.asp.

Enterprise Vault (EV) does not include a function to export the contents of a Public Folder archive.

I have managed to get the majority of the data out of the various archives but it would appear that there is a limit of 1000 items that can be exported this way.  I really don't fancy manually pulling out 38,000 mails but there you go....
