Sharing levels in Vault Stores with Centera storage

When we stood up EV9 a couple years ago, we hired the help of professional services. For a reason I cannot determine, we chose to share within Vault Stores, but not within the Vault Group. Our storage backend is EMC Centera. It makes no sense to me why we don't share across the entire Vault Group, unless for some reason the Centera block-level duplication performs the single instancing for us instead.

Anyone have an idea? Thank you in advance.

Centera cannot take advantage of OSIS, thats only for NTFS/CIFS based storage
Centeras act just as they did in EV2007 before the new OSIS model was introduced

So yeah, Centera cannot be configured the way that the other storage types, essentially because it doesn't need to, as EV uses the same kind of sharing model as Centera does in the first place. Secondly the Centera does sharing natively a lot quicker than EV. And thirdly because mixing parts on a Centera, parts on NTFS etc would most likely cause a lot of performance issues
