Staff leaving and returning (Now have 2 EV archives)

Hi,

We've had a number of users leave the firm (account deleted from exchange and AD) and return.  This has resulted in the user having two vault stores.

What are other doing about this?  how can I merge the two stores together into one?

What version are you running?

Simple solution you could do is to export the old archive to PST and then import it into the current.  Then you can delete the old archive.

Yea.. I thought of that, but just wondering what others were doing about it.

If provisioned, enable manually, you should be able to manually assign an existing archive. Most companies I've been do NOT want a returner to have his/her old archive. Mostly related due to returning in another job not needing (or being allowed) access to the old archived data.
