Unable To Manually Archive Items In OWA

All-

Product:

EV10

Exchange 2007

I'm having an issue where I'm unable to manually archive any items within OWA.  When I attempt to manually archive an item I get a prompt telling me there are "No Accessible Vaults".

One thing to note, previously archived items that do have the EV icons inside of OWA, just unable to manually archive or restore items from the Vault.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Re-installed OWA Extensions script
  • Deleted EVAnon Directory and re-rean OWA Extension Script
  • Confirmed CAS Server is listed in the EVnon virtual Directory as well as the ExchangeServers.txt files

TIA,

Steve K

Here is a whole list of things to check as well:

"No accessible vaults" when manually archiving an item in OWA (Outlook Web Access) 2003 or 2007.

you also might want to have a look at the Enterprise Vault OWA Resource Tool (EVORT)

Why is it I type in "No accessible vaults manually archiving" and I never saw that document pop up for me? :)

I will check the conditions of the document and run the EVORT tool and I'll report back.

Thank you,

Ok tried running EVORT but it won't report on the E2K10 CAS Server that had the exentsions ran on it.

BTW, I wrote some mis-information in the OP.  They're running Exchange 2010.

Thank you,

Grab a dtrace of AuthServer on the EV Server when you are trying to manually archive.

Could you copy the report into a doc and attach it?

Did this get resolved?

If not, do you see the archive/restore request hitting the EV server in the IIS logs?

For archiving, you should see a request to "evanon\getarchivesettings.asp"

Can you view items successfully?
