Windows Search has previously been indexing Vault Cache without any problem. One of our users reported that Vault Cache had disappeared from the list of indexed locations in Windows Search. Whilst investigating this issue, I managed to re-create the problem by uninstalling the EV client. After reinstalling the EV client the Vault Cache was missing from the list of indexed locations in Windows Search.
Anyone know how to restore Vault Cache to the list of indexed locations in Windows Search?

Try the following
Navigate to HKCU\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Client
If it exists, delete the key named OVWDSPluginAutoEnabled and then Rebuildthe vault cache.
Note : As per the compatibility list Ev supports WDS only on 32-bit version of MS Windows XP ,Vista and Windows 7.

Note: Enterprise Vault 8.0 supports WDS and WS only on 32-bit versions of
Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Support for WS on Windows 7
32-bit requires Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP4 or later.
