cmdlets run successfully but EV store not put in backup mode

Hi all

I have installed EV8 on its own server 2003 server (in VMware).

It is all set up and ready to go. I have run the SYM template to generate cmdlets to create pre/post backup cmd files.

When I run these on the EV server they execute successfully reporting that the EV store and index are in backup mode but when I go into the admin console and right-click the vault store it gives the option to set backup mode not to clear it so it doesn't look like it is actually working.

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

You have to do a right-click refresh in the VAC.

I just tried it on indexlocations.
