Symantec Enterprise vault - I got this event log entry:
event id = 7285   the index volume is full   
file size = 32.28% of maximum size
 
What to do?

You shouldn't have to do anything.
 
This is just indicating that the current index volume is full and that a new one will be created.
 
Are you seeing problems when this user is searching?
