vault service email account

Hi,

Just a quick query: I've just been checking our mailbox archive sizes and have noticed the vault service account is over half a gb in size. When I log into it using Outlook there aren't any items in it except a couple of test emails we sent when setting up. Is this normal? Are there hidden items or some such?

No, it just means that a lot of data has been archived into the VaultServiceAccount archive.
If other users have permission to that archive, they can store data to it.
You may want to go into the Archive/Permissions tab and see who else has permission to write to that Archive.
