Hello all,
When I go to MySupport, the page is in english. But when I click on "Submit a case" the page is in German language.
Why ?

What browser and version are you running? OS? Does this happen if you try a different browser?

Sometimes I log itno Connect and have German interface. Maybe there are same reasons?
It's IE 8, Win 7 Ultimate EnUS, Sys locale - Ukrainian (!) ... meaning not German at all.

Hi Cycletech, thanks for you answer.
I'm running IE 7 on Win XP SP3 at work and IE8 on Win XP SP3 at home. I've just try IE8 on Server 2003R2 STD, the same thing happen.
And now Firefox 3.5 on Win XP SP3 (at work) : German too.

Check the URL - had to take out reference to "de" within the path. Had quite a few other spurious issues like this previously for the same reason - but as I say this was just for Connect.

It is 'de' in the URL. But why does it appear there?

Sorry, but this solution didn't work for me. This is the link (no '.de') :

BTW. Sometimes (I do not know how to repro) Connect shows my Profile saying that I am a member for XX weeks and X dias
Very strange. It somehow takes 'days' placeholder and puts there 'dias'.

more something for Volo to look at as that was a "Connect" issue.
Strange though, have clicked on the link you've provided & it comes up in English - so I would suggest a browser setting or issue?

sounds very similar to those issues I was mentioning:

If you get them again take the time to look at the URL to look for de/fr/es etc etc in the path that maybe shouldn't be there. If it becomes a big issue open another discussion & ask for one of the Admins to investigate?

Had already noticed the added /DE/ in the address bar and removing it has gotten me back to my normal page. But the question remains why is the Symantec Forums automagically redirecting to the Deutsch (German) language in the forums at connect?
Must be something in the redirect URL, IP address, etc. Someone definitely needs to looko into this. And, no it's not a browser hi-jack or redirection or virus or any other crap like that. It's simply the redirect to the home page...
Thank you for looking into it.

I am forwarding this issue on to the site developers for a look.
Thanks,

URL I quoted:
"...
The zh-hans portion of the URL means that somewhere in your travels you've clicked on a link or read a post that someone has tagged as being in Simplified Chinese. If the interface were translated, it would be obvious that you had wondered into this part of town so you could remedy the issue immediately. But, alas, this part of the interface translation is not slated for anytime soon. (We do plan to unveil a Connect UI in German, French, and Spanish in the near future.)
..."
(for zh-hans you could also read de, etc)
Unfortunately this does not assist DC with his issue which relates to MySupport & not Connect, so we've hijacked this thread somewhat with a different issue!

I just experinced the issue myself. I sent this screenshot to the site admin.
