Global Give Back Day 2018 at Veritas: Pune, India

The children of Sneh Foundation were invited by Veritas HR staff to envision their designs for the organization's soon-to-be painted walls.In support of Veritas’ HR Global Give Back Day, our HR team out of Pune, India visited Sneh Foundation – a local low-income school in need of some infrastructural care. The Veritas team proved to be ready and willing to take on the challenge, sponsoring the repainting of the school’s two classrooms.

Instead of simply re-painting the walls, the school’s staff and Veritas team encouraged the children to express their creativity in color; over the course of the day, the two classrooms were re-painted with enlivening forms and figures provided by the children in drawings.

"The children were delighted to see their ideas had come to fruition,” and “were very happy to see the dull walls light up with multiple colors,” shared one among Veritas HR.

In 2018, across our global offices, those of us on Veritas Human Resources teams are completing nearly 4,000 hours of philanthropic work in support of our local communities on behalf of Veritas Technologies.
