Thought I would take a moment and post a positive.

I reached out to support after reviewing the technote above, and indeed I had three appliances with a potentially impacted FW version.
Support supplied the ROM in the Etrack, and the instuctions.
The apply went as described and took less than 20 minutes, including reboot.
Additional note: This was performed as a proactive measure, we had not encountered any data loss.
