Failed to Start File System Check on /dev/mapper/system-log during Boot up

Good afternoon,

I upgraded my NetBackup 5250 from 10.0 to 10.3 and after rebooting the system I am running into this issue: 

Failed to Start File System Check on /dev/mapper/system-log.

Then sends the appliance into emergency mode and only able to input "journalctl" 

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue. Thank you for any help.

the base OS is RHEL so if it is going in emergency mode it means something is broken (like a mount point).
if you have active support involve them, if you do not have active support, take a look at below article:
