Your post is for some reason only showing up in Appliance forum today...

I see a BMR error:

BMRERR: Received BMR error: The driver for Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet is not compatible with Windows PE. You may need to create a driver package that is Windows PE compatible to restore this system using Bare Metal Restore. The driver for Bro

So, this error is related to the BMR option in NBU - not the Appliance.

Are you sure about the NBU version on the client?
Last time I've seen this was on NBU 6.5: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH83811
