After implementing the NBAC yesterday, we got status 116 on the inactive node of the Windows 2008R2 master cluster
It fits with expiration periode, but can't run the bpnbaz -setupmaster and restart netbackup every day
Has other run in to this problem on a clustered master ?

Michael

Found the problem which is that a Windows 2008 R2 cluster has multiple ip-addresses, which all get the physical node name on the inactive node
Adding the physcial node shortname and full qualified domain name to the host file and running bpclntcmd -clear_host_cache solved the problem

Not seen this one before
I can only ask that you ensure you have followed the guide through step by step in the configuration as there are a lot of commands that have to be run multiple times
This is handy too:
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH76577
Though the links seem old and the one you probably need is:
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH126599
Worth double checking everything as well as the usual stuff - UAC and Firewalls
Hope this helps

Thanks but they're for 7.0 and we are on 7.1.
Has created a case at symantec support as there seems to be a problem when running 7.1.0.2 NBAC on the inactive node of a Windows 20008R2 clustered master.

Hi
Dont know if this will help in relation to increasing the expiry period?:
