Air replicaiton import time

AdrianDH

We have two Netbackup domain with two data domain 9300.  When calculating replicaiton time I use The start of replication at site 1 to the end of the import on site 2.  when I look at site 2 the replication has completed but it take almost 1 hour before the import starts.  Why is the import waiting so long to start?  Shouldnt it start closer to the end of the duplication?

Are both your master seevers running on nbu 7.6.?
I hope you are aware that this version is no longer supported...

Once the images have successfully been replicated, within few minutes you should be able to list the pending images for import on the secondary master in the output of the command - “nbstlutil pendimplist”

Once the images are in this list then everythinng that happens to them or how they are read would be reported in importmanager logs (logged in nbstserv logs). If there is some issue from the storage perspective then it would be nbrmms and stsem logs on the media server along with nbstserv and importmanager

Now coming back to some basic questions around the problem..
Are SLP parameters same on both the masters.?
What about the size of EMM_DATA.db in nbdb on both the masters.?

On the master where it takes time is the emm_data.db file too huge .?

Check if your minimum number of image per AIR import job isn't set to a high value for some reason.

The minimum number of Images per A.I.R import job is set to 1
