Hi All,

When I installed new media server 7.5.0.6 on linux redhat  2.6.32-431.23.3.el6.x86_64, it asked a question: "

sfmsap1blpc  sfmsap1clpc nodes are not ssh equivalent
Passwordless SSH is not configured between cluster nodes
It is recommended to use SSH for secure communication
Do you want to use RSH instead? [y,n] (n) n

after I said Yes , I think itnstallation failed because I am not able to see /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf

Anyone see that message before and how can I fix that issue? Thank you.

Tom

Sounds like you are installing a cluster server?

I found the TECHNOTE for your exact issue here:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH160242

(NOTE: If you are doing a cluster server install you will want to read the high availability guide)

Please note that only master servers can be clustered, not media server. Even when a media server is part of a cluster, you need to install each node as independent media server, then follow steps in the NBU High Availability Guide to create Application Cluster.
