Backup failed due to VSS writers issue

One of my backup failing due to system writer is in unstable state.

On checking diskshadow command, system writer is pointing to a clustered drive 

Volumes affected by this component:

                               - [file://%3f/Volume%7b355f9b87-0000-0000-0000-501f00000000%7d/]\\?\Volume{355f9b87-0000-0000-0000-501f00000000}\ [C:\]

                                - e:\flags\services\classic [Does not exist]

                                - e:\flags\services\sim [Does not exist]

                        - Component Dependencies:

Here E drive is clustered disk which is getting through virtual node name.

Please suggest.

What is the outcome of the following command ran on active cluster node:

vssadmin list writers

is everything stable, no error?

Yes, all writers are stable.

Backup is failing since cluster disk is moved to partner node.

System writer is still pointing towards E drive which has moved partner node.

Hi, as this is not nbu issue, I suggest to contact microsoft support to troubelshoot the errors regarding vss..
