You need to check logs - at least level 3:
bpbkar on the client. This will tell you if the client is reading data and sending it to the media server.
bpbrm and bptm on the media server. This will tell you if data and metadata is received from the client and written to backup media.
Commands such as top, iostat and ps will also tell you if these processes are active on the client(s) and media server.
My gut feel is that something is wrong on the media server, that the backups are not actually running and the jobs on the master server have for some reason not timed out and failed.

bpbkar: INF - EXIT STATUS 63: process was killed by a signal
In the meantime media has been restarted and backup was succesfully
