NBU 6.0 MP6, Solaris 10, Exchange 2003
We recently ran business continuity testing in which email services were switched from our primary to our secondary data center. At our primary site (running NBU 6.0 MP4 on Solaris 10), I was able to successfully back up Information Store, Exchange Public Folders, and Mailboxes. Now that we are running through our secondary site (with above config), however, Information Store backups succeed, but Public Folder backups are failing with status 71, while Mailbox backups fail with status 69.
I checked Veritas documentation for NetBackup configuration for Exchange and ran across 245184 (
http://support.veritas.com/docs/245184), but this is for NBU for Windows. Is there a similar process for NBU for UNIX? My email administrator has checked the primary Exchange server configuration and verified no modifications were made to integrate NetBackup for successful backups.
Is there something else that may be missing?
