Backups fails with "timed out waiting for media manager to mount volume (52)

Backups fail with a RC 52 saying "Timed out waiting for media to mount"  and the media has already mounted and positioned.   Master and media servers are Solaris 10 running NBU 6.5.3.

Please post all info in Job Details as well as media server's bptm log.

Shared tape?  Is the Master Server and Media Server correctly mapped to same drives?  I have seen this before when drive mappings have got stuffed up.
