Best buffer value for ibm 3592-j1a??

Hi,

i'm looking frome some one the best (i your opinion) numer of buffer and dimension for ibm FC tape model 3592-j1a (win 2003 x32 server).

Actually i'm using 64 buffer of 256k

There are a lot of factors in determining the optimum values and they are not necessarily transportable from one Netbakup environment to another. I suggest you create your own benchmarks and test varying values and observe the results in the bptm logfile. Please remember to test the restore capability after making any changes.

Feel free to post your reults and remember to include configurations of the network and the media serrver CPU, memory and IO, etc...
